Two Penguin Dads: The True Story of Elmer and Lima (and Baby Bruno)

It's time for one of my favorite writing contests, Vivian Kirkfield's #50PreciousWords contest. It's a fun challenge to write a kid appropriate story in 50 words or less.

I worked on my entry over the last year, but was still modifying it till the last minute. My inspiration was from the two penguin dads that hatched a chick at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo (see article here).
