Last year I was thrilled to get an Honorable Mention for my Two Penguin Dads: The True Story of Elmer and Lima (and Baby Bruno) story. This year my inspiration comes from a story my mom shares about her and her childhood friend, who happened to also be her next door neighbor, sharing the one set of roller skates they had.
